Our assignment for my photo class was to create an image similar to Mr. Arnold Newman's work.

Mr. Newman was very famous for his 'Artists' project. He contacted different artists of different mediums and made portraits of them. He had a very two dimensional style where the subjects look like they were in a painting.

I photographed my friend Alex. He is an industrial designer in the school of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University.
